The rewrite/edit for "Styx" went much better than I thought it would. One more pass and I should be done.
I'm pretty happy with the way this story turned out. It's a relief. One more pass, two at the most, and this story will be done. Even better I can start thinking/planning/working on a new story tomorrow when I meet my writing buddy and not feel guilty about it.
Yeah, I'm happy. Take a picture while it lasts, lol.

- I have sold over thirty short stories and articles to professional and semi-professional magazines. My first science fiction novel, FEVREBLAU, was published by Five Star Press in 2005 and sold out its first print run. (Yay!) I am working on short stories at present. I was born in deep Louisiana sugarcane country but grew up in South Texas. I have two degrees, one in journalism and a bachelors degree in science (physics and chemistry) education. My main passions outside writing include chess, amateur astronomy, shotokan karate and politics. I have worked as a surveyor, an educator and a salesman, but my first love is writing. I currently live in Dallas.
